The rear load area carpet for this model originally had a dark grey carpet fitted with a circular 50cm diameter round hard felt piece glued to the back which covered the spare wheel. This extra felt is there to support the carpet over the spare wheel and stop it sinking into the void below. The picture here shows this strengthener on the reverse side. The colour of the carpet is the same on the front.
