In 1993 a new style of seat frame was introduced to the Mini. At the same time the seat diaphragm was changed to a special rubber woven design known as the Suisiara model. The idea is that the woven area stays rigid while the black rubber area expands with weight on it to vary the support given by the base cushion.
The item comes with the necessary metal clips to attach to the frame.
