This carpet fits the Mk.II Golf 3 and 5 door saloon, as you can see from the photograph here we have been able to mould the original shapes of the carpet from our donor car. The carpet itself is made from top automotive quality carpet with all the necessary holes and slots already cut to make life easy for you to fit. The heel pads are to the original VW design and are heat welded to the carpet.
We have examined two or three different cars to look at the condition of the sound deadening materials underneath the carpet and were quite shocked at how much deterioration had taken place. We have therefore developed this carpet set around our own new soundproofing kit which when fitted correctly will give you a great result and would recommend all new carpets are fitted with a Newton Commercial underfelt.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SET FITS A STANDARD FLOOR PAN ONLY, AND NOT THE SYNCHRO OR G60 VERSIONS.
